The story of a young and aspiring astronomer

This little boy's name is EJ, sometimes we call him Joops (that's what Rylie wants to call him all the time, she was the one who named him that too). Whenever Joops like something, he always take it with him in bed. Yesterday, he played with the binoculars the whole day and carried it on the bed. Mommy took it away from him when he was sound asleep already. Mommy didn't know that he will wake up in the middle of the night and look for it. Oh my, this little boy threw a feat for almost an hour, he cried and cried. so next time Mommy won't take anything away from him when he is sleeping...
So that was the adventure of an aspiring astronomer here in our abode hehehe..

they just love boiled eggs...

Almost everyday, my two angels would always ask me to biol them eggs. They love eating it, they don't like the egg yolk though, just the white part, so Mommy always ends up eating the yellow part.. See how seriously they are peeling off the skin, they don't want for me to do it either. "We have to peel it off by ourselves Mom" my daughter always say.
Geez... that's a lot of eggyolk I have to eat lol..

These are the following photos she drew yesterday... This one, she said is a lobster from Sponge Bob Squarepants show
This one she said is a sleeping lion..
According to her, this is the left over of the fish that her imaginary cat ate..
This one here is a character from the show she love to watch, Teddy Roxpin... An octopede whose name is Grabby..
Alright guys, that's what my little burito munchkin has in store for you.

Imaginary Friends

My husband is worried about our daughter because she is telling us stories about her imaginary friends. Hubby said that it might be becuase she lack of interaction from other kids that's why she's creating these friends. She always told us about her Friend "Alex", she said that he met him at the airport. Just yesterday, she told me that she met another friend whose name is Josh. I think thaat toddlers really have imaginary friends, its just normal right? Did you experience the same with your kids?

Followers Vanished

Good morning everyone, how's your day today? A lot of bloggers are wondering why their followers were gone. I'm the same way too, I was shocked when I opened my blog and 25 of them vanished. Is it a system failure or the followers really pulled out? Did you experience the same? So guys if you don't see my blog in your followers and you are following me, pls buzz me and I'll follow you again.. Thanks!

Love thy neighbor

My son love pandesal that's why hubby bought me a bread maker, unfortunately, I haven't figure out how to make pandesal yet hahaha. When the phone rang this afternoon, the kids got so excited because we thought that the call was from their Dad. The call was from our neighbor, she said that no one answered when she knocked on the door. She brought and gave us pandesal and spare ribs. Awesome! Thanks Ate Lilet!

Missing terribly

Oh no, its quarter to one already... I just now successfully got my daughter to sleep, she refused to go to bed because she was waiting for her Dad to arrive. Gosh, it's so difficult for a Mom to see their child cry because they miss their Dad. Although we talked to my husband a while ago, it wasn't enough to convince my daughter that Daddy won't be home till this Saturday. Oh boy! Okidoci folks, need to go to bed too... Goodnight and thanks for visiting and commenting as always!

We're missing Dad already

My husband flew to Japan this morning to attend his retirement class for a week. He'll be back on Saturday but we are already missing him. We're not use to being away from him anymore. When he left, my son and I were awake but my daughter. As soon as his Dad left, EJ climbed on the couch and peeked on the window and said "Dad." When Rylie woke up, she was asking for her Dad too and started crying when I told her that he left already. Daddddd, we're missing you so much already wahhhhhhhh!

What will happen if I....

Children's curiosity can lead to a scary accident. We bought our daughter a collection of beads on Valentine's day because she love making bracelets and necklaces out of it. While I was cleaning the dishes yesterday, my daughter was working on her bead jewelry. And hen a little bit later, she came to me and she kept sniffing. I asked her what's wrong and she said "nothing." So I continue with my chore, I felt that something was wrong with her because she continued to sniff like she has a cold. I asked her "Did you put something in your nose" and this time she started crying and told me "I stuck one of the beads in my nose and it's not coming out." Oh my God, I was so scared because the bead is a little big. I said "calm down" and I tried to tell her to blow it out but instead she was breathing it in. My son was taking a nap and I can't leave, so I called my husband so he could bring her to the hospital. She don't want to go because she was scared that the doctor will cut her nose open. Oh boy! Anyhow I convinced her to go finally. Do you see the bead on her palm? That's after they got out from the hospital. She showed it to me and said "I promise Mom, I won't stick anything on my nose ever again." I was happy because she learned her lesson. I am worried that the little bugger below will do the same so I put the beads up where they can't reach it.
Goodnight everyone, I'll visit you tomorrow! Thanks for visiting and commenting.

1...2...t'wait!

I never had a hard time taking a picture of our daughter even when she was a baby, she really love posing and smiling in front of the camera. Our son however, is so hard to take a picture with. He doesn't like posing and waiting, so everytime I will take a picture of him, it's always have to be quick or else I won't get the view I want to. Just Like these photos, watch how he tried to run away from her sister who was trying to let him pose with her.

2. Life is grand because we are fortunate enough to have the things that other kids don't have. 3. Life is grand because we get to enjoy our parent's presence everyday!
4. Life is grand because we will be bale to meet Mommy's family in 3 weeks yippeeee! 5. Life is grand because Mommy gave up her job in order to be with us everyday and Dad is always willing to play with us..
The simple rule is:List 5 reasons why I think that Life is Grand and then pass it on to 5 people. So I am passing this tag to Inday_Adin, Clarissa, Beth, Niko, and to all the Mommies with kids who wants to do this tag..

spelling bee

I cut my time in blogging because I am trying to teach my daughter some basic academic stuff like recognizing each of the alphabet letters, although she already memorize it. Now I am slowly teaching her how to spell three letter word that can be easily remembered. She knows how to spell dog, God, and cat already and I am so proud of her. She is also mastering to spell her first name (Jillian) it's a little bit long so she always forgot the last 2 letters hehehe.. My goal is for her to learn how to write her name and read probably before she goes to school next year.
She also want to be a blogger someday hehehe..

Being a mother is a great experience, a happiness that you will always have in your heart and the best thing that God has bestowed to women. When I was single, I used to ask Mama how she possibly raised the nine of us. I told her, that I won't be able to handle the stress and the hardships, but when I became one, all those thoughts just vanished. God guides mothers what to do and how to deal with things that concerns their children.

And your life begins

I often heard this saying"Life begins at 40." If it's true, I am glad that you are sharing the big milestone and journey with me. I love you!
How do I begin to tell you how lucky I am to have you in my life? I'll start by saying what an honor it is for me to be your wife. You're my best friend in the good times and my rock in times of sorrow. You're the reason for sweet yesterdays and my promise for tomorrow. I never thought I could feel this loved until I became your wife. You made this year and every year the best one of my life

Sorpresa

I talked to Mama on Valentine's day and she doesn't have a clue that we are going to see her in 3 weeks. I contacted my sister in Manila and told her to ask our mother to visit her. Mama asked me if my sister Lyn told me why she was being asked to go to Manila, I just told her that maybe my sister is going to get married hehehe. She also asked me when we are going to visit her, I told her that we are going there in December, she was very happy that finally she will be able to see her grandkids. I miss Mama very much, there were times when I was pregnant and when I gave birth to both of my kids that I wish she's with me. I thank God that He gave us the means to be able to visit this year. Whew, I better stop, tears are running my cheeks now wahhh... Goodnight friends...
This picture was taken when I left the country five years ago...

Brunch with the Band

We had a brunch (sponsored by the church) after attending mass today at Turtle Cove with the ladies members of JBL Simple Tunes Band. They are a group of four Filipinos (3 ladies and a guy) who are performing here in base. All of the members are very talented and great singers! Keep it up guys!

Fra Ra and BBQ Ribs

Our daughter love Pork BBQ ribs, so that is what we had last Friday for lunch. We also made the pasta bahala na coz we all love it..

Our son EJ kept saying Fra Ra "Fried Rice" while eating it yesterday morning. I am so happy with the success of my weaning attempt with my son, now he is eating good and sleeping good through the night. Now, I can go back to my normal eating habit without feeling guilty that my son will starve if I don't eat extra. I can start trimming this bilbil (tummy fat) by trimming my meals also hehehe.. Just sharing folks.
